Nearly had a head on collision as a crazy driver 👿 swerved right round a steep bend onto our side of the road then at last possible minute managed to get out of our way and swerved onto the correct side of his road. All this happened near Berkeley at 10.30am. Thought future life was over.😵

We stopped in Berkeley for a cup of tea to calm our nerves (and a bacon sandwich😏) It brought back terrible memories of a previous fatal crash we were involved with.

Rest of day was thankfully uneventful. Managed to pack away more of the contents of our kitchen and took photos of the new build. Wondering what tomorrow will bring ?……

Fell down today in thick oozy mud wet right through to my skin,coats jeans and pants…. Let me explain.
Woke up to torrents of rain ☔️Sorted out a bit more of my kitchen then noticed the skies were clearing. ⛅️🐝

Best loved suggested a walk down by the cliffs below Aust services to find Devils toenails in the mud. 🐚 Good idea I thought.
As I walked along a long boardwalk, I noticed a walk down to the left towards the old jetty for the defunct ferry. So decided to investigate ..bad decision. On the way back climbing up onto the walkway I slipped as I reached the top,fell on both knees in the mud and over onto by back in a huge dirty puddle. I am now clean and dry as I write this but with bruises and aches down by left side. What have I learn from this? I am not young and agile anymore and I need to lose weight. Hope the rest of the day improves 🍷🍴🔜

I’m laying in bed scheming. Want to start in the kitchen today. Firstly the cupboard above the oven. More news on progress later watch this space.

Well that was enlightening , didn’t realise how many light bulbs I already had and so won’t need to buy any of those for a few years❗️Threw out loads of empty packets of tablets and creams too, this is hoarding to extremes. Also why do we have 3 travel kettles and found an electric knife sharpener I didn’t realise I’d bought.

Stayed up late watching “The little Fockers” not because I like the film (I do!) but because I can; now that I don’t need to get up to work 😉

Still feels strange that I have no commitments but could get used to this very quickly.
Went to the hairdressers today and treated myself to highlights and bronze ones too, can’t expect to continue in this vein though as will have to pull in purse strings.
My pension is £114.02 per week starting in mid March . Also my teachers pension kicks in 18th of this month.
After a quick lunch went out with my camera as it is so sunny with long winter shadows. Found a tree lined road near the Dammery and shot some pics.
Builders have dug out the footings for the garage / kitchen build. Window man came and all arranged. roof comes off tomorrow weather permitting….So exciting. Love the thought of our new kitchen.🍴🍷🍝🍜🍛

It’s Sunday, actually I woke up in a panic thinking it was Monday and future life had already begun, I enjoyed the moment and relaxed again.
How can I plan future life?
I need to declutter my mind, my house, and enjoy being me ……….
doing what I want to do when I choose to do it…..

FUTURE LIFE
It’s now Monday, I still woke up at 6.25am but rolled over and went back to sleep. What a luxury! Got up at 7.30 because builders arriving from 8am.

This feels unreal but I am sure I can get used to it. Builders making lots of noise and a grinder is adding to the commotion.
