Hi today it was a chilly start to the day especially along the coast. We went straight to Cavendish. this is the town where Lucy Maud Montgomery lived as a child and wrote the Ann of Green Gables book. We saw her homestead and met her 4x great grand son.

This is grandad looking down her wonky well and the desk she wrote her books on in the post office room in her house. it was very interesting.
We then went to the national park and along the North of the Island, stopping at view points and taking photos.

The cliffs were redstone with dark sand and then there were sand spits of white sand and no cliffs.
Everywhere there were fishing shacks and cafes selling seafood and ice cream.
Sadly I must have eaten chillies in the chowder I had and was very ill, oh dear I’m ok now:)
It got hotter in the afternoon and the sun was strong again.
Hope you like the photos.
